BIOgraphyHello!! My name is Sabastian, I am currently 23 years old and I’m incarcerated at Fort Dick‘s New Jersey. I was arrested for a handful of armed robberies when I was 19 and sent to a little more than 16 1/2 years. I received my GED while I was in the county jail and I am currently enrolling in an associates degree program this fall. It’s a little ironic because of my situation but one of my favorite things to do is travel, I’ve been out of the country once to participate in a Jiu-Jitsu/Muay Thai seminar in Phuket, Thailand. i’ve been all over the East Coast with family and have been to Colorado twice, once to dig for aquamarine on Mount Antero.
I love dogs and should have a few pictures of mine on here for you to take a gander at, sadly, my black pig/lab died while I was going through transit, but she was a good dog who had a long and happy life if you have any pets or travel a lot, I would love to see some pictures. I’m definitely putting together a destination, bucket list, and completely open to any cool suggestions. I’ve always wanted to go to Australia for the wildlife and rock climbing, but they don’t allow feelings, it’s kinda funny, considering they were founded by a bunch of criminals. I love TV shows and movies, I’ve missed so much since I got locked up!! Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like “they” waited for me to get locked up to bring out all of the cool stuff. My favorite movie is “Baby Driver” and my favorite tv series is “The Walking Dead”. My two favorite music artists are Juice Wrld and Jack Johnson. I also like to read a lot; my favorite genre is fantasy but I read a little bit of everything—except Westerns! I’ve recently gotten into manga and anime, my favorite by far is a manga called “Solo Leveling”, and from what my friends are telling me they are about to put out a third season of the anime soon. Prison has changed my outlook on life a time, especially when it comes to social connections. It’s a big reason why I wanted to create this profile in the first place, social connections is arguably one of the most important aspects of the human experience. It’s literally hardwired into our brains, but I’ve seen how easy it is for people in here to fall into an isolationist mindset. They stop reaching out to the world, the effects of not having a healthy social network is blatant and how they interact and treat others. Being a longtime introvert, I am aware of how acceptable I am to this, and would like to build a network for myself.
