BIOgraphyHi everyone, my name is Kyle Stevens. I am a 35-year-old white male from Baltimore, Maryland. I am looking to reach out to the world because there is so much potential out there, and I’m tired of limiting my worldview to only what I see around me… maximum prison.
Let me tell you a little about myself. First, let me address the elephant in the room. I have been in maximum-security federal prisons for most of my life. I was charged with committing two murders-for-hire when I was just a 15- or 16-year-old boy. My own son is now 18 years old, and I was forced to watch him grow up from inside a prison cell. Prison sucks. For most of my time inside, I was housed in federal supermax prisons like SMU Lewisburg and SMU Thomson. I have been through hell in here, but strange as it may sound, I don’t regret having to go through those struggles. They helped me grow and evolve into a much better man — a stronger, wiser version of myself. This crucible helped forge an unconquerable soul. I refuse to allow prison to define me. For years, I lived in harsh places with little to no contact with the outside world. I was hopeless and lost. Since then, I have worked hard to turn my life around. I am now in a much better prison environment and a much better place mentally and emotionally. Today, I am a GED tutor, and I take great pride in helping others grow. I am also a writer, currently working on a memoir about my experiences — turning pain into purpose and chaos into creation. I am a lifelong student of esoteric teachings, history, and anything martial arts-related. For a long time, I felt like I was stuck walking between two worlds. I am no longer lost. I am on my path to redemption. Every day, I work toward earning a second chance at freedom because I am no longer that reckless 15-year-old kid who threw lives away so foolishly. I am probably the most stereotypical Scorpio you could ever meet. I guess I’m on here to meet like-minded people, build meaningful connections, and collaborate with others who see beyond labels and circumstances. I have big plans for the future, and you never know why, how, or for what purpose our paths may intertwine. But we’ll never find out unless we open those doors and take a chance. I will write overseas, across the seas, or even to the moon if I know the postage to get it there. I look forward to seeing what you and I can build together. Thank you for reading this. |
